Tea Bag Eye Mask

A lot of people suffer from puffy eyes or under eye circles. Fortunately I don't have such a problem with this but I do have a tendency to get very tired eyes. Of course a lot of companies are coming out with gel eye masks, which are great, but this is such a cheap and easy solution that you can do as often as you like.

Soak 2 regular tea bags (not de-caf) in a bowl of icy cold water for 5 minutes. Dot some eye gel around each eye, squeeze any excess water out of the tea bags and apply to each eye. Ideally leave them on for about 10-15 minutes, although I know a lot of people have trouble relaxing, this is a good time to tune out, try a bit of meditation or just have a sleep.

The caffeine from the tea bags is amazing at de-congesting the under eyes, lightening dark circles and just helping to refresh and awaken the eye area. When you have taken the tea bags off do some lymph drainage to help move out toxins and clear the eye area. Using your ring fingers, start on the inside of the eye and work out. Using a rolling movement with the fingers, press down lightly as you move your fingers right the way around the eyes until you reach the temples. Repeat this movement a few times. You can do this daily when applying eye cream/gel.
